Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Launched PM-Daksh portal and a mobile application

PM - Daksh:-

Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Virendra Kumar on Saturday launched an online portal and a mobile application to make skill development schemes accessible to the targeted groups Backward Classes, Scheduled Cast and sanitation workers.

About PM-Daksh:-

1) The Pradhan Mantri Dakshta Aur Kushalta Sampann Hitgrahi(PM-DAKSH) Yojana is being implemented by the ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment from the year 2020-21.
2) PM-DAKSH portal and app was developed by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, in collaboration with the National e-governance division.
3) Under this scheme eligible target groups will be provided skill development training programmes including.
a. Up-skilling or Re-skilling Programmes
b. Short term Training Programmes
c. Long Term Training Programmes and
d. Entrepreneurship Development Programme. 
4) With the help of this PM-DAKSH portal, Youth of the target groups will able to avail benefits of skill development training programmes. 
5) PM-DAKSH portal have been developed to make skill development schemes accessible to target groups of Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Sanitation workers.
